Aim and Scope

Medical Electronics Technology, MET, is a peer-reviewed, open access platform dedicated to the publication of high-quality articles that showcase the design, development, and application of hardware and software innovations in medical electronics. It serves as a comprehensive resource for researchers, engineers, and developers working on the creation, customization, and integration of medical electronic systems, devices, and tools.

We welcome contributions that advance open-source hardware and software, particularly those that improve healthcare delivery, diagnostics, rehabilitation, patient monitoring, and biomedical research. Submissions may include novel hardware designs, software algorithms, embedded systems, sensor integration, signal processing techniques, wearable technologies, and low-cost or distributed manufacturing approaches such as 3D printing.

Medical Electronics Technology, MET, embraces contributions from all areas of biomedical engineering, including but not limited to wearable health monitors, physiological sensors, assistive and rehabilitative devices, lab-on-a-chip systems, and diagnostic instruments. We particularly value submissions that address challenges in resource-limited settings or improve accessibility and affordability in healthcare.

All published hardware and software must be shared under an open license to foster collaboration, transparency, and innovation in the medical technology community.
